Bickham has loads of craft, but no art. Try the Kindle edition and experience these great reading features: Dang, it’s been a long time since I read this, but it was one of the foundation block to my journey as an author.

I especially loved the end, when it gives an example plot outline. We learn about the story question, about cause and effect, and about stimulus and response.
